The goal
Changing the way users interact and consume automotive content in digital environemnt
Turning the old Motopedia platform into the new well connected to ecosystem OTOMOTO News
The OTOMOTO News section underwent a significant redesign to better align with the evolving needs of our users and to integrate more closely with OLX Group's global design system. The previous design, while functional, lacked the cohesive look and feel that reflects our brand's identity across platforms. We recognized the need for a more modern, intuitive, and user-friendly interface that offers a seamless experience between the core OTOMOTO platform and our content offerings.
The path for content exposure
Our redesign process began with a thorough audit of the existing site, focusing on user behavior, feedback, and analytics. We identified key areas for improvement, including navigation, content discovery, and overall aesthetic. By adopting the OLX global design system, we ensured that the new design would not only be visually consistent with other OLX Group products but also benefit from best practices in UX/UI design.
Creating a seamless experience for users transitioning between core platform and content platform
This redesign is not just a visual upgrade—it's a strategic move to enhance user experience, strengthen brand identity, and align our content platform with the broader goals of OTOMOTO and the OLX Group.
By doing so, we aim to increase user engagement, improve content accessibility, and ultimately drive more traffic and interaction on both platforms. The adoption of the OLX global design system also positions us for future scalability, allowing for easier updates and consistency across all OLX Group platforms.
